This Privacy Policy explains how Rick Albert, Broker Associate (DRE #01884303), and LAMERICA Real Estate (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share information when you visit rickalbertonline.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, sign up for our newsletter, book a call, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the areas you’re interested in, your preferred monthly payment range, and anything else you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, the site that referred you, and similar usage data. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar tools, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide real estate services
- To set you up on automated listing searches that match what you’re looking for
- To send you our real estate newsletter and market updates
- To contact you by phone, email, or text about your home search, financing, and related services
- To understand how visitors use the Site and improve it
- To show you relevant ads on other websites and social media platforms

Text messages
If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may send you text messages, including automated messages, about your search and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
- Our team: Rick Albert and our assistant, who helps manage inquiries and the Site.
- Our lending partner: If you ask about assumable mortgages or financing, we may share your contact information and home search details with Joe Parisi of Rate (NMLS #255572) so he can discuss loan options with you.
- Service providers: Companies that help us run our business, such as our CRM and calling/texting platform (Follow Up Boss), our newsletter platform, website hosting and form tools, and scheduling tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Analytics and advertising partners: Google and Meta receive usage data through the tools described above. This may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.
- Legal reasons: When required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and your choices
You can manage cookies through the cookie settings banner on the Site or through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. To opt out of emails, click “unsubscribe” in any email. To opt out of texts, reply STOP.
Do Not Track: The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may request to know what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us using the information below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our business records, and meet legal and licensing requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or online transmission is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
